Oftentimes, you may see these animals roaming freely around the lodge. The presence of such wildlife serves as a testament to this retreat's quiet natural beauty. Although elk hunting is our speciality, the Lodge At Chama hosts a variety of year-round alpine activities such as fishing, flyfishing, horseback riding, shooting the sporting clay course, hiking, wildlife tours or photography, hunting, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing and snowshoeing.
