Location:
Papoose Creek Lodge is located in the upper Madison River Valley of Southwest Montana, adjacent to the spectacular Lee Metcalf Wilderness and 40 minutes from one of our nation's jewels, Yellowstone National Park.
The Madison Valley is known for its pleasantly cool summer days and very low humidity. The nights and mornings are crisp, and the days filled with sunshine. Fall is punctuated by the autumn colors of the Aspen trees turning to gold and the pastureland to beige. Wintertime brings snow and cold weather, but the sun continues to shine throughout the season. Spring rains herald the warming trend and the completion of nature's cycle of life for the flowers and the abundant wildlife.
