Fly Fishing: All guests at The Lodge & Spa at Brush Creek Ranch have limitless access to the private blue ribbon waters of Brush Creek, known for its award-winning trout fishing, and adjacent private waters access on the Platte River. The fly-fishing excursions are guided and all equipment is provided. In order to ensure individual attention, Brush Creek Ranch provides one guide for every two people. In-depth instruction is provided on casting for those who need it. For those who don’t, experienced anglers are welcome to venture out on their own for a more solitary experience after just one trip with a guide. Also available is pond fishing, float fishing and off-site elite fly-fishing experiences. As part of the fly-fishing experience, each angler is given an introduction to Brush Creek itself and information about how the Ranch has restored the area and given significant time and consideration to creating a sustainability plan to protect its waters. After a day spent in waders, guests are often invited to join guides back at the Ranch’s Saloon for fish-swapping stories and refreshments.
