Flexibility, we target your species of choice, we fish where you want to fish, and we fish when you want to fish. Our lodge is located on the Nuyakuk River, a great home river for the rare non fly-out days and for after hours fishing. The lodge has no neighbors, no boats, no cars, and no planes going by the lodge, just peace and quiet right on the river.
The Royal Coachman Lodge offers access to many angling opportunities and specializes in letting guests fish the way and where they want to. This may be large rivers, small streams, or lakes, and the quarry may include a number of freshwater or saltwater gamefish. Rainbows, dolly varden, lake trout, arctic char, northern pike, and grayling are pursued in the course of the season; also, chinook, chum, sockeye, coho and pink salmon.
If weather does not permit flying, the Lodge has boat access to 75 miles of the Nuyakuk river to which they have virtually exclusive access.
The Lodge practices strict catch-and-release of all freshwater resident species but will prepare and pack your salmon catch for you to take home.
